We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a team as soon as possible until the end of July. This role involves working with a small class of 6 children from Years 1-5, due to an influx of students requiring the school to split the class. The successful candidate will not be alone and will be supported by HLTAs and learning mentors.

Day-to-day of the role:

Teach a mixed-age class of 6 children with SEMH, and some with additional needs such as ADHD/ASD/SEND.
Deliver the national curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and science.
Work collaboratively with HLTAs and learning mentors to support student learning.
Implement strong behaviour management strategies to handle a range of behaviours.
Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching the national curriculum in literacy, numeracy, and science.
Proven experience with behaviour management in a classroom setting.
Strong understanding of the needs of children with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and SEND.
Ability to work effectively with support staff to enhance student learning.
Patience, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education.
