SalaryEmpowering Learning are looking for Primary Specialist Teacher in a bespoke and impressive SEND Setting in Leicestershire . QTS/QTLS is preferable but experience of teaching will be considered. and experience with SEND pupils is favourable.
Required Experience:
- Have experience working with young people
- Teaching/Leading experience necessary
- Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
- Have an interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
- Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable not essential)
- Be a part of the school team taking part in the wider school environment
- Have an understanding of behavioural management
Job Description:
- Leading in classroom lessons across a variety of subjects.
- Supporting children during lessons/school activities
- Supporting staff/children during lunch and break times
- Managing pupils personalised learning based on their individual need.
- Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessment
- Providing behavioural management of pupils
