REED Education are seeking enthusiastic Supply Teachers to join a fantastic and inclusive primary school in the Redhill area, close to the beautiful Surrey Hills. This temporary role offers a great opportunity for educators who are passionate about making a positive impact on the education and lives of young children.
Ideal for those seeking a work-life balance, this position is perfect for experienced School Teachers as well as newly qualified teachers. As we have 20 schools across the county, you have the opportunity to gain diverse teaching experience across Surrey!
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of education for pupils in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and classroom environments.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and in accordance with school policies.
- Providing feedback on pupil performance to regular teachers and school management.
- Engaging with pupils to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Maintaining a flexible approach to work, adapting to different school settings and age groups.
What do we need from YOU?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various school environments.
- Knowledge of child development and progression and its impact on planning.
- Effective strategies for managing behaviour in line with school policies.
