Job description

Location: Bournemouth 
Start: Immediate start or after Easter 2024  
Contract: Temporary but with scope to become permanent
Hours: Full- time (part-time applicants may be considered)
GSL Education are seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school situated in Bournemouth. The school are looking for candidates with a passion for providing quality SEN provision to meet pupils’ diverse needs.  
The role consists of supporting pupils, often on a 1:1 basis, including individuals with EHCPs, additional behavioural needs and SEN. Having experience within a school setting would be beneficial, as well as having experience working with children or adults with SEN. The successful candidate will have the ability to support class teachers to engage learners, motivate children and respond and adapt appropriately to the needs to the pupils they are working with.
The role is available for an immediate start, however the school may also consider part-time applicants.
