Reed Education are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a one-form entry school in Scunthorpe from May half term 2024 until February half term 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Key Stage 2 class. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and is looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity.
Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, teach, and assess a Key Stage 2 class, ensuring that all children are engaged and making progress.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to the needs of all students.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Create a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and a strong classroom culture.
Attend training sessions, parents’ evenings, and other school events as required.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
Commitment to professional development and a willingness to attend training and events.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
