We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a ‘Good’ primary school renowned for its dedication to providing the highest level of teaching. This role offers a long-term position for the remaining two terms of the school year, with a school that boasts a comprehensive, balanced, and exciting curriculum.
Day to day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons to Year 5 pupils, fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom environment.
- Design curriculum and strategic plans that cater to the individual needs of pupils.
- Evaluate and monitor lessons to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, safeguarding their health and safety.
- Use innovative teaching techniques to inspire and motivate pupils.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team and colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2.
- Proven track record of raising attainment standards.
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
- Personable, friendly, adaptable, and flexible.
- Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
