Primary TeacherMaths Lead TLR Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: The Maths lead collaborates with teachers to develop and refine the Maths curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and the school's educational goals.
• Resource Management: Overseeing the selection and organization of resources, including textbooks, teaching materials, and digital tools, to support effective Maths instruction
• Professional Development: Providing guidance and training to teachers on best practices in Maths teaching,
• Monitoring and Evaluation: The Maths lead observes classroom instruction, provides feedback to teachers, and conducts regular evaluations of Maths teaching and learning outcomes, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency
• Parent and Community Engagement: Communicating with parents and caregivers about Maths curriculum, student progress, and ways to support literacy development at home, fostering positive partnerships between home and school
• SEN Support: Collaborating with SENCO to ensure that Maths teaching meets the needs of students with diverse learning abilities, providing tailored support and accommodations as needed
• Cross-Curricular Integration: Promoting integration of Maths language and skills across the curriculum, working with colleagues in other subject areas to reinforce skills in various contexts

• Year group depending on appointed Primary Teacher

• TLR opportunities: Subject, Year Group and Phase Lead
• September 2024 - Full Time & Permanent
• MPS1 - UPS3 - + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough Westminster

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS
• Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum required
• You must show a passion and creative flare towards education and inspiring young minds
• Understanding of the teaching standards
• Lesson observations required: 'Good or Outstanding'
