The CatchUp Academy is currently looking for a Primary Tutor to support a 1:1 pupil from a school in Ashford.
Details:
Immediate start 2 hours per day (mornings) - Monday - Friday Lessons to be delivered at the family home, as child is not attending school (parents extremely supportive) Lessons will be broken down into: 30 minutes Maths, 30 minutes English, and one hour of creativty Pupil requires an engaging and enthusiatic tutor who can bring the subjects alive Full support supplied from The CatchUp Academy to help liaise with the school and the pupil's parents throughout the programme
As a CatchUp Tutor you will have the following responsibilities:
To assess and adapt your teaching style according to the student's current abilities To liaise with pupil's teacher to agree and plan lessons and objectives that are tailored to the pupil's needs Be flexible and committed to the hours required The Key Requirements of a CatchUp Tutor
To be a tutor you will either need to be a Qualified Teacher (QTS) or a support worker within a school with relevant qualifications or a minimum 6 months experience New Graduates at degree level are welcome and encouraged to apply! Have a clear understanding of the UK curriculum Excellent subject knowledge Confident behaviour management An enhanced DBS Be confident with IT systems
