Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Principal Civil Engineer to join a growing Engineering and Transport Planning Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Fareham.
Due to our client's continued growth, they are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their Engineering team to develop the creation of technical designs and to project manage various schemes across a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design of drainage systems and highway layouts
- Liaise effectively with Developers, Engineers, Architects and local authorities
- Manage team resources for design work for drainage systems in accordance with, building regulations and the SuDS Manual
- Review reports, designs and drawing work
- Mentor junior staff members
- Attend client meetings and site visits
- Manage, prepare and control the costs/budgets for Engineering tasks
- Maintain and develop strong client relations
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering or a similar field
- Support and mentor other Engineers
- Past experience working in a similar role
- Team management and resource coordination experience
- Civil Engineering project management experience
- Staying up to date with industry best practices and technologies
- Understand the principles of sustainable development and apply them
