Check out the videos below showcasing why you should grow your career here with us at MPFT: Why Work for Mental Health Services at MPFT - YouTube Development and Progression Within Mental Health Services at MPFT - YouTube The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high quality, specialised, evidence-based psychological interventions for service users requiring input from the Integrated Mental Health Team. To promote psychological thinking and working by offering consultation, assessment, formulation, teaching and training. We have a number of service development projects across the IMHTs and you will be strongly encouraged to contribute towards and taking a leadership role where appropriate for research, audit and service development activities. You will be an active member of the team leadership and MDT supporting service development, delivery and evaluation. We have strong links with the Clinical Psychology Doctorate course at Staffordshire University, the Counselling Psychology Doctorate course at Wolverhampton University and the Clinical Associate in Psychology course at Keele University. The successful candidate will be required to offer clinical training placements as well as contributing to other programme activity e.g., teaching and supervising research etc. There is a large supportive group of psychology staff working across the trust. You will have access to individual clinical supervision as well as some group-based model supervision for those delivering specific interventions within the service (e.g. EMDR, ISTDP, MBT). You will have professional leadership from the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and there will be opportunities to work alongside and be supported by a strong network of Psychologists. CPD relevant to the role will be available and encouraged. The Trust has a robust in-house Super Series Leadership training programme. Training and interests are further supported through a range of supervision and interest groups, and a collaborative appraisal process. Please find attached job description for full details.
