Summary

We have 2 new roles for Data Analysts with modelling skills / experience based in Manchester and working on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week in the office.

These roles would suit someone with a keen desire for problem solving whilst working with social, economic, and environmental impacts. In these roles you will:

• Build Data Models and conduct in depth analysis
• Assurance of models and promotion best practice
• Analysis of socio-economic trends and feedback to planning teams.

As an organisation they are continuously aiming to develop and progress their operations, and data is at the heart of this ideology, they are therefore looking to grow their Analytics team further.

The positions are based in the City Centre, close to all major transport links.

Your responsibilities / accountabilities in this role will be:

Management responsibilities

• Provide leadership and motivation for colleagues, ensuring a high-performing and cohesive team through coaching and mentoring on a technical level
• Provide unique development support for team members including feedback to provide a platform for high performance as well as career progression.

Technical Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of geo-databases, and geo-referencing systems.
• Coordinate and assist with a diverse range of business cases on investment across the North
• Oversee the program and refine appraisal tools and processes to aid in business case delivery
• Orchestrate the incorporation of technical components from suppliers and analytical tasks into a unified programme
• Take charge of technical assurance for outputs
• Engage with partners to facilitate discussions on technical work

Requirements

• Experience with Geospatial data and tools (Cube, Emme, Saturn or Vissim)
• SQL / Python
• PowerBI - Or a relevant visualisation tool
• Experience with Data Modelling
