The Principal Designer role
The successful Principal Designer will be an essential member of the London team, bringing expertise and innovative solutions to a diverse range of projects. This role involves:
- Leading and managing the Principal Designer duties across a variety of projects, predominantly in the residential and mixed-use sectors.
- Collaborating closely with clients and project teams to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are integrated from project inception through to completion.
- Providing expert advice on risk management and compliance with CDM regulations.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of health and safety practices within the consultancy.
This position is ideal for a Principal Designer who is passionate about making a significant impact in a dynamic and growing consultancy.
The Principal Designer
- Proven experience in delivering Principal Designer duties, ideally within residential and mixed-use sectors.
- A strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and a commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for effective teamwork and client relations.
- Relevant health and safety qualifications, with membership in professional bodies like IOSH or APS considered advantageous.
