I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Principal Ecologist to join an exciting team in Cambridge! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with fantastic opportunity for progression and development. You will get the opportunity to provide specialist ecological input on a wide range of projects while supporting the team through giving advice on surveys, strategies, and mitigation.

The role involves:
- Providing senior support and specialist knowledge to ecological projects.
- Management of large-scale projects and ecology team members.
- Assisting with the review of systems of work, templates and processes.
The requirements include:
- Experience in the ecological industry, including leading a team.
- Knowledge of planning systems and EIA's.
- Experience of mitigation strategies and licencing.
