Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a global Design Practice on a permanent basis. This position offers the successful candidate the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis!
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of various electrical systems within a range of projects. Our client has built an unrivalled reputation for providing high-quality services in the following sectors, Fire Engineering, Infrastructure, Acoustics and Masterplan Energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Representing the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors' teams
- Developing the applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building Engineering services purposes
- Develop and support more junior Engineers
- Produce survey tests and reports on existing Electrical installations
- Maintain and develop positive client relations
- Conduct regular checks of designs and specifications
- Carry out Engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards
Key Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical or life science specialist is preferred
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field
- Experience leading projects
- Good knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation
- Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Confident in specification design/drawing for several building types
- Knowledge of MS Office applications word, excel etc
- Sound understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy
- Ability to work independently and as a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
