Principal Electrical Engineer

Your New CompanyHays are pleased to be assisting a leading client in Plymouth with the recruitment of a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.Your New RoleYou will provide management of the Electrical Engineering elements of the buildings and transformer compound packages, ensuring designer technical performance and making appropriate technical responses, provide subject-matter expert advice for Electrical Engineering as well as technical design guidance and review of electrical design packages.You will also ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule, and budget.What You'll Need To SucceedYou will be qualified in Electrical/Control Engineering with previous experience designing high and low voltage electrical distribution systems and control & instrumentation systems ideally with knowledge of nuclear or other regulated industries.What You'll Get In ReturnThis role is offered with a salary between £50,000 and £65,000 per annum, depending on experience on a permanent contract.What You'll Need To Do NowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
