AddressRandstad are partnered with a defence company in Herefordshire who are on the lookout for a Principal Electronic Systems Engineer on a permanent basis. The vacancy is within their R&D team and you will be developing the next generation of warfare products.
To be successful in this role, you will be required to have experience in taking ownership in system design through the whole lifecycle as well as specifying and developing new products and maintaining existing products. You will work closely with the systems, software, RF, PCB layout and mechanical engineers to specify and develop new products and to maintain existing.
Essential Skills
- Strong electronic engineering background
- Proven track record of leading dynamic multi-functional teams
- Broad experience across different applications and technologies
- Design of sophisticated system architectures
- Ability to analyse solutions and make system design trade-offs
- Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitude
This can be on a hybrid set up and SC clearance is essential.
