SalaryI'm currently on the lookout for an embedded engineer (senior or principal) on a permanent basis near Milton Keynes. The company are in the defence / aerospace industry and in this role you will assist in the design, implementation and test of real time Embedded Software to support both experimental activities and product development, ensuring real-time safety, security and redundancy considerations are met.
You will be required to support a mixture of R&D and product development activities within a leading company and you will work within a range of departments.
Key Skills;
- Embedded C
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) e.g. FreeRTOS
- Microprocessors e.g. NXP Kinetis or Arm Cortex-M0/M3/M4
Desirable;
• Embedded C++
• High Level Languages
• Protocols: CANbus, SPI, Serial (485, 422, 232), I2C, Ethernet (UDP, TCP)
• Yocto built Linux / Unix environment
• Raspberry Pi
