- Directing or Programme Managing, siting, permitting, planning, licensing, compliance and environmental oversight of automotive and wider manufacturing sector projects;
- Directing and/or Programme Managing multiple projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables;
- Leading the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management;
- Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business;
- Developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated winning proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or a related field. (required)
- Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
- Chartered Engineer or Scientist (preferred)
- At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of experience consulting and working for the manufacturing sector, related to the siting, planning application, permitting, and licensing field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Demonstrable track record in developing automotive and broader manufacturing sector clients and winning a range of projects and assignments (required)
- Experience in directing and managing permitting, planning, compliance and environmental oversight of automotive manufacturing projects. (required)
- Experience of directing and managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. (required)
- Experience in conducting environmental site assessments (ESAs) for due diligence and compliance purposes for the automotive and manufacturing sectors. (preferred)
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
- Field work and overnight travel may be required.
- Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
- Valid UK driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
