Salary: 50,000 - 65,000
The selected candidate will give technical support to both our office and site-based teams, addressing engineering challenges in a variety of industry sectors, becoming an integral part of the organisation, combining engineering with project management, coaching, and contributing to the company's strategic development.
Qualifications
- MSc / MEng or above in Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject;
- CGeol or CEng status is required.
Responsibilities
- Creating technical reports and assessing the efforts of colleagues;
- Guiding project meetings and engaging with clients in the capacity of a Project Manager;
- Providing guidance and assistance to engineering teams through mentoring;
- Cultivating an environment that encourages engineering proficiency and compliance with industry and company benchmarks for junior team members;
- Managing and facilitating the production of reporting and design packages;
- Contributing to tender submissions and generating comprehensive geotechnical proposals.
Desired Skills
- Extensive expertise in the field of Geotechnical Engineering.
- Proficient utilisation of relevant geotechnical design software such as Geostru, Plaxis, Flac, PDisp, Wallap, etc.
- Demonstrated awareness and experience in managing commercial risks associated with projects.
- Capable and willing to efficiently manage workload, balancing and prioritizing various tasks and responsibilities.
- Compiling geotechnical design reports.
- Developing specifications and designs for earthworks.
- Conducting slope stability assessments and producing related reports.
- Reviewing and validating design reports.
- Expertise in EC7 design and validation.
