We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Kotlin Engineer to join our dynamic team in London.
Position Overview:
As a Principal Kotlin Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust, scalable, and high-performance healthcare applications. You will lead a talented team of engineers, contribute to the technical vision of our products, and work collaboratively to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance patient care and streamline healthcare processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Kotlin-based applications, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that address healthcare challenges.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineering team.
- Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the company.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Kotlin and healthcare technology.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kotlin Developer, with a strong background in software engineering. Other JVM experience is fine as long as you are happy working with Kotlin.
- Significant experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of healthcare technology and the regulatory landscape.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect and design complex systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
- Passion for improving healthcare through technology.
