The Heath Family Trust is seeking to recruit an inspirational Principal to provide leadership and management of Litherland High School.
The Heath Family Trust operates across the North West of England, with three secondary and five primary schools in Halton, Knowsley and Sefton.
We exist to empower our children to overcome barriers, be able to compete with the best, and shape the future.
Litherland High School believes that a quality education is so much more than results and league tables. At our school, we believe that students can only excel academically if they have a passion for learning. We are looking for an experienced senior leader to establish and sustain the school’s ethos and strategic direction in partnership with those responsible for governance and through consultation with the school community, upholding ambitious educational standards which prepare pupils from all backgrounds for their next phase of education and life.
Our ideal candidate will be able to evidence successful leadership and management experience in a school, including involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning, and possess demonstrable experience of successful line management and staff development, along with experience of leading cultural change.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate a vision and inspire others is essential to the role, as is a commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school and Trust.
