An award-winning M&E Consultancy based in Manchester City Centre are looking to recruit an ambitious Senior or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to work closely with the Director in developing the Manchester office.
Job Purpose:
To lead projects, manage teams, develop, and manage client relationships and to support the Director in growing and developing the business.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for ensuring that all specifications for project design work are adequate for their intended purpose.
- Assist with the preparation of fee tenders alongside supporting Directors.
- Manage and deliver projects to achieve positive financial outcome.
- Ensure Quality Assurance procedures are followed by all team members.
- Assist in the provision of appropriate training and development to all staff within the department.
- Assist in company development and attend business development meetings.
- Supervise the work of teams and individuals.
- Prepare monthly fee projections for management meetings.
- Manage project resourcing.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
The position would be suitable for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who is looking to progress their career.
