Principal Oracle Engineer (Lead) Contract Dublin

Principal Oracle Engineer (lead) Contract Dublin 6-18 Months. My client a global leader in their respected industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Principal Oracle Engineer to join them on a contract basis.

My client is looking for an experienced Oracle Principal Software Engineer to join one of their largest global Technology teams, to help drive the development of their technology platform. As a principal engineer, you will help to define and drive the engineering approach, as well as providing technical guidance to our development teams as they deliver solutions at scale.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record designing & developing enterprise scale Oracle PL/SQL solutions. You will have the ability to create shared reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise. Candidates must have the Ability to document, design and code for maintainability. You will have experience in optimisation and tuning of SQL code for performance & efficiency. You will be a strong leader, capable of guiding development teams to implement technical designs. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to contribute ideas to continually improve development team efficiency & quality. This role is very much a hands on leadership role, so you will be setting coding standards with various teams. You will have to have a deep technical knowledge in order to be effective in this role.

It would be preferred also to have experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, experience in Python or Java development is advantageous. Experience with automated PL/SQL testing. If this role sounds of interest please drop me a CV so that we can speak in more detail.
