About the role / service

The postholder will have the ability to masterplan, develop detailed delivery plans and execute the delivery of regeneration projects in Halton. The end-to-end involvement will allow the postholder a unique level of delegation and accountability, not always offered in similar roles, allowing them to see a project through from germination and vision to development completion.

Specific Projects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of Halton’s portfolio of housing projects including Foundry Lane
  • West Runcorn, Percival Lane Regeneration Project
  • Port of West on Regeneration Project
  • Delivery of Astmoor Masterplan
  • Widnes Waterfront Development
  • Liverpool City Region Freeport
  • Liverpool City Region Investment Zone

About you

You will have to be a self-starter and possess a strong team ethic as well as work ethic. You will have at substantial experience with regeneration and / or development and funding in the public or private sector, and be able to meet the significant demands of working for a dynamic local authority. Knowledge of the development process is essential as are the mechanisms for devolved Mayoral Combined Authorities at a political, strategic, and financial level.

Delivering major regeneration projects, you will be enthusiastic and visionary about the potential for Halton as a chosen location to invest and live and pragmatic about delivery with the skills to match.
