The role
As a Principal Safety Engineer you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary, you will provide aviation Safety Engineering support to a variety of Military Aerospace projects (Typhoon), working within a team of Safety Engineers. You will also be responsible for leading the team's technical output and ensuring that accurate safety products are delivered to the customer.
Day-to-day, you'll be the provision of expertise to deliver defined artefacts in the support of a variety of Military Aerospace Project Teams, in particular Typhoon. This will cover the whole range of Safety Management System (SMS) documentation for Aviation platforms.
You will use your analytical skills to examine evidence to support a safety argument to our customers.
This role will be based from Lincoln or Bristol with adaptive working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Principal Safety Engineer - Typhoon
- A proven track record of working within the Aerospace industry
- Previous Defence and /or Military Aviation experience
- Experience of working with Typhoon aircraft
- An in-depth knowledge of the MRP and associated regulations and Policy
Qualifications for the Principal Safety Engineer - Typhoon
- Professionally registered to Chartered Engineer
