To support and develop efficient, inclusive educational services for children with Hearing and Visual Impairment (HI / VI) in Pre-School, Primary and Secondary Schools across Moray.
To support the work of colleagues in the SE Service, to provide a direct specialist teaching element at the children’s base schools, to offer appropriate support and advice to class teachers and parents. within the context of the Council policies, national guidelines and the requirements of legislation.
To lead the Service in terms of Quality Assurance practice and related developments
To give reasoned advice and guidance to The Moray Council Department of Educational Services on matters related to Sensory Education (HI/VI)
Contribute to the development of the Central Support ServicesA relocation package of £5400 (exclusive of VAT) may be available for promoted posts
