AddressEurostampa UK, a progressive print company specialising in the high quality printing of labels primarily for the Spirit Bottling Industry, have an opportunity within our Ink Lab department.
The role of the Ink Lab Assistant is a vital role in the company and is one of the starting points in producing our customers labels to their specification.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Formulating and preparing inks to company standards
- Producing inks to meet production requirements
- Controlling stocks and ensuring inks and coatings are available at presses
- Minimising waste
- Achieving agreed output levels whilst ensuring conformance with company quality control standards
- Ensuring presses have the required inks and varnishes for production
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and print procedures are followed at all times
- Ensuring Ink Lab surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy
- All other duties as and when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Able to work on their own initiative & collectively as a crew
- Excellent attention to detail including colour
- Proficient in numeracy & literacy
- Reliable & possess an excellenttimekeeping / attendance record.
- Flexible approach to changing work priorities and an ability to work to strict deadlines
Please note, this role will involve heavy manual handling and treble shift working.
Working as part of the Ink Lab & Wash Up team, the successful candidate will be fully trained in the make up and maintenance of anilox rollers.
