Print Machine Operator

Our client, a leading customer communications company, is looking for a Print Machine Operator to join their team on the overnight shift, onsite in London.

Our client, a leading customer communications company, is looking for a Production Services Operator to join their team on the overnight shift, onsite in London.

This is a hands-on role that will include printing, finishing and distribution to a high standard all submitted print requests. It requires attention to detail, good organistational and communication skills.

Main Duties:

• Print and bind printed materials to meet the relevant Service Level Agreement(s).
• Organise local, national, and international couriers.
• Quality checks all printed materials to ensure adherence to request specification.
• Scan, save document into relevant software.
• Take print instructions and convert to finished products.
• Monitoring/ Replenishing consumables for printers, calibrating machines.
• Reporting issues as per procedure.
• Carry out administrative tasks as necessary.

Skills:

• Reprographics experience preferred.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite or equivalent applications.
• Speed and accuracy in working with excel reports, analytical ability would be a plus.

Training will be provided for all the above listed tasks.

Working hours: 37.5 Wednesday-Sunday midnight – 8am, with a 30-minute break. This is an ongoing temporary role working on the overnight shift.

Salary: £18.45 per hour weekdays up to £19.53 per hour weekends (00:00am-08:00am shifts only)
