Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive consultations with Private Clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored legal advice in areas such as wills, trusts, and estate planning.
- Drafting and Review: Prepare and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other relevant instruments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Estate Administration: Oversee the administration of estates, guiding clients through the probate process and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Tax Planning: Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies related to their estates, including inheritance tax planning and wealth preservation.
- Business Development: Actively participate in business development initiatives, building and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance the firm's Private Client practice.
- Supervision and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior solicitors and support staff within the Private Client department.
- Qualified Solicitor with 6 years of post-qualification experience in Private Client law.
- Strong expertise in wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
- Proven track record of handling complex Private Client matters and achieving successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferably STEP qualified.
