Owing to their expanding operations, they seek a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join an established and high-performing Private Client Tax division.
Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive necessary information and that their records are organised.
- Undertake the preparation of intricate personal tax returns and associated claims.
- Evaluate straightforward tax returns to guarantee precision and adherence to regulations.
- Support senior team members in overseeing client portfolios as required.
- Offer advice and assistance to junior team members.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss their tax positions and provide updates.
- Handle correspondence with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Supervise a portfolio and nurture relationships.
- Provide counsel on routine tax inquiries and contribute to tax planning efforts.
- Extend support to colleagues in alternate departments when necessary.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient handling of billing.
Profile
- ATT/CTA accreditation, or an equivalent professional credential (or QBE will be considered).
- Considerable involvement in personal and Private Client Tax within a specialised or diversified capacity.
- Effective communication abilities - oral and written track record of operating in a client-centric capacity.
