Description
- Oversee a portfolio of personal tax clientele, which encompasses individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
- Compiling and evaluating personal tax filings, such as self-assessment, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Offering customised tax planning guidance to clients, covering aspects like income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax planning.
- Handling the preparation and review of Forms P11D, collaborating with our specialist Employment Tax Department to provide advice on employment benefits.
- Cultivating and managing client relationships with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Coordinating with HMRC to address and resolve any tax-related queries or issues.
- Providing supervision and mentorship to junior team members.
- Staying informed about changes in tax legislation and effectively communicating these updates to clients.
Profile
- Qualified by experience, or ATT/CTA, or ACA qualified, with a detailed knowledge of UK tax legislation, using tax law, HMRC guidance and understanding of the implications for clients.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Able to actively manage their own workload and take responsibility for their own development.
