Private Client Tax Manager - Legal Firm

Meraki Talent are delighted to be working with an established Legal Firm on the permanent appointment of a Private Client Tax Manager for their Edinburgh office.

The Role
Our client is looking for a passionate individual to come into the business and hit the ground running, integrating well with an experienced and collaborative Private Client team. The successful candidate will be a client focused individual with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and to use their own initiative when required.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Compilation of Private Client Tax returns.
• Compilation of partners' tax returns.
• Provide advice on tax planning including the use of trusts, partnerships, etc.
• Addressing day-to-day inquiries regarding tax matters.
• Coordinating tax payments to HMRC.
• Managing HMRC inquiries related to partners' tax affairs.
• The role is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Experience

• ATT qualified or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in personal tax within a Legal Firm, an Accountancy Firm.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
