Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat dental malocclusions and oral cavity anomalies
- Design and implement orthodontic treatment plans for patients
- Conduct orthodontic procedures such as braces, aligners, and retainers
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Skills:
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques for orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating orthodontic appliances
- In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and occlusion
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for performing precise orthodontic procedures
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and staff members
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex dental cases and develop appropriate treatment plans
