About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing private client tax team within an accountancy practice. You'll be working with a diverse range of interesting clients, including high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and partnerships. The specific role and responsibilities will depend on your experience level (entry-level, assistant manager, manager, etc.), but some general duties may include:

• Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax returns (Self Assessment, Capital Gains Tax, etc.) for clients, ensuring they meet all filing deadlines and regulations.
• Tax Advisory: Providing clients with advice on various tax matters like income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and tax planning strategies.
• Client Communication: Liaising with clients to understand their needs, answer their questions, and address any tax concerns they may have.
• Research and Analysis: Staying up-to-date on the latest tax legislation and keeping abreast of relevant tax cases to provide the best possible advice to clients.
• Collaboration: Working alongside colleagues in the tax team, potentially other departments (financial planning), and external parties (solicitors) on complex client matters.
