Job Description - Probate Manager
- Manage, conduct, and deliver high-quality probate work.
- Communicate effectively with executors, providing excellent service and advice.
- Preparation of inheritance tax returns and other necessary documentation.
- Supervise and mentor team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Dealing with the application to obtain a grant of probate
- Maintenance and preparation of estate accounts including ability to handle estates that are often high in value and that include trust structures e.g. discretionary wills, nil rate band wills and life interest trust wills
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless service for clients.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and skills within the probate field.
- Experience required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Probate Manager should have:
- CTA and/or STEP qualification - or a desire to work toward a STEP
- Substantial experience in probate work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of inheritance tax and probate regulations.
- A commitment to providing excellent client service.
