If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work with us as our next Process Architect here at EDF working on our Hinkley Point C Project!
The Opportunity…
As a Process Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering robust management arrangements for EDF's Nuclear New Build initiatives. Collaborating closely with senior leaders, your expertise will drive the design of efficient and effective processes, ensuring they align with best practices, especially in terms of site and operational safety. Your excellent communication skills will be instrumental in engaging stakeholders throughout the entire process, from design to implementation.

Alongside a competitive salary range of £55,000
- £65,000 depending on experience, we’re dedicated to offering flexible benefits that support our people across all aspects of their lives. This role will be based on site working primarily at our Satellite Delivery Centre building 2 days a week with flexibility of home working the other 3 days. There may also be a requirement to attend the Hinkley Point C site, Aztec West (Bristol) or other offices/stations on a business need basis.

What you’ll be doing…
In the role of Process Architect at HPC, your primary responsibility involves developing and refining procedures for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project. This encompasses creating new procedures, updating, or retiring existing ones, and ensuring adherence to HPC procedure standards within a highly regulated environment.
Collaboration with various stakeholders across the HPC project, delivering process requirements and solutions for system development projects or programmes, and the management of stakeholder relationships are essential aspects of your daily activities. Your role also includes organising and facilitating workshops to share processes, with a specific emphasis on process modelling expertise (lead/six sigma). Other responsibilities also include:
- Collaborate with management and project stakeholders to orchestrate and coordinate process improvement project activities, ensuring seamless execution.
- Assess the effectiveness of ongoing process improvement initiatives, providing valuable recommendations for refinement.
- Provide expert coaching and guidance to procedure development subject matter experts and project leaders to ensure process, safety, compliance and quality standards are met.
- Demonstrate adept organisational skills, consistently meeting and exceeding agreed-upon deadlines by prioritising workloads effectively.
- Develop detailed project plans that encompass goals, milestones, and resource allocation, fostering transparent communication.
- Exhibit a commitment to delivering high-quality documents and models consistently throughout various projects.
- Ensure strategic alignment of process improvement initiatives with overarching organisational goals.
Who you are…
If you’re looking to be our next Process Architect, we’ll be looking for you to hold a proven track record in process improvement and a passion for innovative organisational solutions. We’re also looking for you to have expertise in Lean/Six Sigma, profound organisational skills, and knowledge of integration of procedures and systems across diverse functions.
- Relevant experience in process improvement (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma).
- Proficient organisational skills with tools like Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Demonstrable ability to identify and integrate interfaces between organisational departments.
- Understanding and application of process modelling standards and design techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of business process analysis and design methodologies.
- Proficiency in BPMN software (e.g., Aris, Orbus, Visio).
- Leadership capability to champion change and foster effective stakeholder engagement.
