Job description

Are you an Administrator looking for a new challenge, working within a HR environment? Working in our HR Operations team, which is part of our government function, we have an exciting opportunity, to work alongside some of our large Government clients.

As a HR Administrator, you will be responsible for the processing of transactions relating to promotions, level transfers and internal promotions. You will provide a range of straightforward, routine services as part of the team. This may involve responding to routine queries and referring any unusual or non routine situations.

This is a fixed term position for 12 months working on a 2 day working week. We offer a hybrid working pattern whereby you can work from the York site one day per week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Dealing with enquiries through our SOP system relating to promotions/internal transfers etc.
  • Ensuring that enquiries are picked up and managed on time.
  • Carry out administrative work to the highest quality with attention to detail.
  • Raise the more complex requests to senior members of the team and support with the processing.
  • Work within our guidelines towards key performance Indicator's and SLA’s
  • Maintain and update systems or databases to make sure records are accurate, complete, and current.

What you’ll bring:

  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid fixed pattern.
  • Ability to manage your own workload reacting to changing circumstances and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • The desire to be part of a successful team.
