We are currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer with significant Project Management experience to manage the site Engineering function whilst successfully co-ordinating and managing a complex group CAPEX portfolio.

This client employs over 1000 across c.20 sites across the UK offering a market leading sustainable solution to over 50,000 establishments throughout the UK and Ireland.
Description
The Process Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive project management leadership and support for a range of engineering projects across the group
- Ensure best in class health & safety across all engineering activities
- Work closely with Operational teams to identify and execute plant improvement
- Influence and engage cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within defined time lines
- Ensure all projects comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans
- Support, mentor and develop engineers within team
- Maintain and deliver summaries and reports as required
Profile
The successful Process Engineer will possess a range of the following:
- Demonstrable experience in project delivery
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple engineering activities through to successful completion at the same time
- Strong understanding of process safety
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environment legislation (ideally NEBOSH)
- Experience in working within Chemical Manufacturing business or similar
- Degree Level qualified in Engineering discipline
- Excellent communication skills and hands on approach
- Demonstrable leadership acumen
