Process Engineer

My Client is looking for a Process Engineer for their site Manufacturing in Nottingham.
They are a specialist design and manufacturer of COTS and bespoke electrical and electronic component and sub assembly solutions for their customers, especially those in the Space & Defence sector.

Qualifications.
HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in a similar role/industry.
Essential skills
Knowledge of electronic components and their specifications.
Experience with manufacturing processes specific to cable assembly, including soldering, crimping, and harnessing.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Project management skills to oversee the implementation of new processes and improvements.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for process optimisation and documentation.
Experience:
Proven experience in Process Engineering, preferably in electronic cable assembly or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures.
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Prior exposure to regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the electronics industry.
Familiarity with ESCC/ESA or Defence specifications is an advantage but not a pre-requisite
