Process Engineer

We're actively seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our chemical manufacturing client on a permanent staff basis in Widnes.
What does the job involve?
* As a Process Engineer, you will work under the guidance of the Lead Process Engineer, providing operations and project support.
* Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is a key aspect of this role, where you'll apply your Process Engineering and leadership skills to maintain safe and reliable operations and facilitate the delivery of capital projects.
* The role involves working with relevant engineering codes and standards, demonstrating their practical application.
* Working on a top tier COMAH site, you will have previous experience working to similarly high standards, particularly with regard to health & safety.
* Troubleshooting, problem-solving, data analysis, and suggesting improvements.
* Specifying process equipment and producing datasheets.
* Project scoping, PFD/P&ID development, and basis of design documentation.
What Skills & Experience are required the Process Engineer role?
* Degree in Chemical Engineering.
* High degree of analytical and numeracy skills.
* Proficient in report writing, producing documentation, and developing operating procedures and manuals.
* Experience supporting production/manufacturing operations.
* Familiarity with Process Safety concepts and experience in safety studies (HAZOP, PRR, Risk Assessment).
* Management of Change systems and procedures experience.
