At our PAM manufacturing facility in Telford, we are looking for Process Engineer to work with our site engineering, technical, and operational teams to deliver a combination of problem-solving activities and improvement projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with energy, and the desire to learn and improve looking to establish a career in manufacturing Process Engineering.

As a Process Engineer at PAM you will have a varied and challenging role. You will be working to investigate and find solutions to production process issues, product quality concerns, and material and equipment challenges. Also, through data capture and analysis and with stakeholder input you will be identifying opportunities for the delivery of focused improvement projects utilising lean tools aimed at increasing material yield, increasing production throughput, reducing waste, reducing energy consumption and Co2 production, and reducing the cost of manufacturing. You will play a key role in making our operation as efficient as possible contributing to the success of a thriving casting operation.

The ideal applicant will be qualified to degree level or above in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline supported by one year or more in a manufacturing environment.

• Training or experience in the application of lean tools under WCM or Six Sigma would be an advantage.
