Process Engineer

A leading company in textile manufacturing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Engineer. This full-time position is based in Coventry and requires a dedicated professional to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet specified goals and efficiency standards.

Process Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Project Management: Plan, initiate, and manage process improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Resource Coordination: Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors to implement process enhancements.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes.
• Change Management: Manage changes to process specifications, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Performance Measurement: Measure process performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Issue Reporting: Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Risk Management: Perform risk assessments to minimize process risks.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation.

Process Engineer Key Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven working experience in Process Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Software Familiarity: Familiarity with process simulation software/tools.
• Certification: Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
