Process Engineer Role
About the role:
Based in our office in Widnes, your role as a Process CAD Engineer you will be an integral part of the technical team
responsible for the process drawings and calculations.
Responsibilities:
- Producing calculations, analysis, drawings, models, design base documentation and technical reports and
- supervising trainee staff in production of same.
- Supervising designers in the production of drawings and engineering models when required.
- Producing technical specifications, assessing tender returns, and providing technical support to those packages
- throughout the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, and decommissioning phases of the
- project to ensure that the Design Intent is maintained.
- Carrying out design risk assessments, raising design quality plans and reviewing design changes.
- Ensuring that adequate Reviewing, Verifying & Approval is undertaken on all their deliverables.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in a Process Design Engineer position.
- Engineering qualifications in chemical engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent.
- Technical understanding of process safety and proficient in process hazard identification and risk control
- methods (LOPA, ALARP, HAZID, HAZOP).
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficient user of AutoCAD.
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels including production, service and to
- senior levels.
- Attention to detail is vital.
- High level of organisation is required.
- Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a drive find solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year (experience dependant)
