As a Process Operator at Campact Ltd, a leading resin manufacturer and EGGER UK subsidiary, you'll be instrumental in ensuring efficient production processes. You'll monitor, control and adjust machinery and process, adhere to safety procedures, and maintain strict quality standards.
Your Tasks
- Operate all aspects of service plant and warehousing operations associated with formaldehyde and resin production, including the production of all resin grades on the plant.
- Reach a level of competence to help ensure consistency of product properties and maximum use and efficiency of the plant equipment.
- Ensure that the work place, equipment, vehicles and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Achieve production targets whilst maintaining full quality, safety and environmental within the department.
- Be aware of all raw material stock levels, and to complete any necessary reports detailing information as required.
- Have a proactive approach to ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any deviations, near missess, incidents or accidents and hazards are duly reported.
Our Requirements
- A good standard of secondary education.
- Fork lift truck and front loader licence preferred, however training can be provided.
- Previous work experience in a chemical environment is preferred, but not essential.
- Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Comprehensive Health and Safety knowledge.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work a 4 shift pattern (12 hours, days/nights).
- Be a strong team player, who takes ownership of entrusted responsibilities.
