Process Quality Auditor

Manpower Print & Packaging Division are currently retained on behalf of one of our prestigious partners, who are a global industry leading brand within their industry. Our client is looking to strengthen their existing team by appointing an experienced Process Quality Auditor, working a double day shift; 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Friday, (incorporating some 4-day weeks on a seasonal basis).

Main Duties

• Responsible for all shift quality control activities. Fully understanding and promoting customer product quality standards across all lines and shifts.
• Stop production and isolate product if customer's requirements are not being met.
• Provide the link between shift production teams and the quality team by communicating quality and hygiene requirements throughout the shift.
• Plan and control all shift quality and hygiene activities to ensure compliance with ISO BRC & AIB standards as well as all company quality requirements.
• Ensure a thorough, accurate and documented shift hand over of all quality and hygiene issues.
• Ensure that shift crews work to the protocols defined and are fully engaged in quality activities throughout the shift.
• Ensure quality control and hygiene incidents are handled in accordance with defined procedures, instructions, and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality role
• Proven ability to perform within the role and to the expectations set out in the principal accountabilities.
• Computer literate, with good knowledge of statistical software is advantageous (such as Minitab)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge of SPC.
