Job description

Manpower Print & Packaging Division are currently retained on behalf of one of our prestigious partners, who are a global industry leading brand within their industry. With 200+ years heritage, a presence in 18 countries, no less than 45 plants globally (with additional sites in development) and being recognised as innovator within industry with a passion and global ethos focused on sustainability, they are considered within our industry as an 'Employer of Choice'.

Our client is looking to strengthen their existing team by appointing an experienced Process Quality Auditor, working a double day shift; 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00, Monday - Friday, (incorporating some 4-day weeks on a seasonal basis).

Main Duties

  • Responsible for all shift quality control activities. Fully understanding and promoting customer product quality standards across all lines and shifts.
  • Stop production and isolate product if customer's requirements are not being met.
  • Provide the link between shift production teams and the quality team by communicating quality and hygiene requirements throughout the shift.
  • Plan and control all shift quality and hygiene activities to ensure compliance with ISO BRC & AIB standards as well as all company quality requirements.
  • Ensure a thorough, accurate and documented shift hand over of all quality and hygiene issues.
  • Ensure that shift crews work to the protocols defined and are fully engaged in quality activities throughout the shift.
  • Ensure quality control and hygiene incidents are handled in accordance with defined procedures, instructions, and standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality role
  • Proven ability to perform within the role and to the expectations set out in the principal accountabilities.
  • Computer literate, with good knowledge of statistical software is advantageous (such as Minitab)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of SPC.
