Job description

Your new company
Our client is an Award-Winning Global Law Firm that has operated for over 200 years, solving complex problems for some of the most dynamic and innovative businesses. Due to their continued worldwide growth, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and driven professional to join this well-established company in their Liverpool office, in a full-time permanent role as a senior Procurement Administrator, supporting their client service, procurement and finance functions.
Your new role
In this role, you will be a Senior Administrator supporting the firm\'s Client Service, Procurement and Finance functions by providing administrative support to critical business processes. Some of your key responsibilities within procurement and finance will be to support contract management, working closely with the Risk team to ensure compliance throughout the process, assisting with contract renewals and milestones, ensuring timely actions are taken, participate in the evaluation of supplier performance through conducting service reviews, create and manage purchase orders ensuring they align with budgetary constraints, manage invoice processing by identifying any discrepancies and handling reconciliations. Additionally, your duties will cover compliance administration, client and supplier liaison to maintain solid working relationships, and supporting the sustainability team with their efforts to keep the company\'s practices ethical and sustainable.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you must be an experienced administrator, specifically having been in a role/roles where you have liaised with clients or suppliers regularly, managed a busy workload to tight deadlines, and ideally handled some financial administration such as purchase order processing/invoicing. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to pick up new systems quickly, possess exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills, and be able to work independently and off your own initiative with little supervision. Coming from a professional services background such as a Legal, Insurance or Finance company could be an advantage but is not essential and experience from outside these industries is also valued. Another benefit to your application would be if you have any experience within procurement, such as handling contract management or service reviews. Overall, the client is looking for someone who can take on a role of responsibility and support the team with their high workload, thriving working at a fast-pace.
What you\'ll get in return
You\'ll receive a starting salary of between 28-32k depending on experience in the areas of competency and be offered excellent hybrid working options - being able to work from home 2 days a week of your choice from your first day in the business. You will work standard working hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and benefit from a brilliant annual leave entitlement of 26 days plus bank holidays and the option to purchase up to five extra days each year. You'll receive an excellent flexible benefits package comprised of a host of benefits including healthcare, a generous pension scheme, and enhanced maternity and paternity leave policies. There are lots of opportunities for internal progression and promotion both upwards and across departments, as well as bespoke training and development opportunities to upskill yourself in your role. Their Liverpool offices have been nationally recognises and awarded for their exceptional design and atmosphere, being modern, open-plan spaces with breathtaking views across Liverpool, close to major transport routes, shops and eateries. The office has a laid-back, friendly, family-feel culture that encourages their employees to have autonomy in their role and work. You will be joining an office of supportive, dedicated colleagues who will offer training and advice, and you'll truly benefit from the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing, long-established organisation that invests in its people.
