Procurement Administrator

We are currently working with a heating and renewable energy contractor that has a strong connection within the development market. The company is looking for an experienced Procurement Administrator to join their forward-thinking and well-established business. If you are an experienced Purchasing Administrator or Buyer Administrator, this may be for you.
Procurement Administrator
Salary: From 24,000
Location: Bristol
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
As a Procurement Administrator, you will be working with the Procurement team assisting with:

• Working closely with departments in the business to understand the needs
• Source materials from well suited suppliers, finding and analysing quotations
• Negotiate prices of materials with suppliers and ensure cost-efficient transactions
• Establish relationships with key suppliers, dealing with shortages and ensure timely delivery
• Ensure company procurement policies and procedures are followed at all times
• General administrative support
• Monitor performance by suppliers, working closely with procurement manager to settle issues
• Liaise with warehouse team to ensure smooth running of business

To be successful in this Procurement Administrator role you will need to be:

• Experienced within procurement related positions
• Knowledge on plumbing and/or heating industry
• Resilient and keen attention to detail
• Previous experience as a Supply Chain Administrator/ Category Administrator/ Materials Administrator
