As a Contracts/Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our housing developments. You will play a crucial role in sourcing materials and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and managing the overall procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of our projects.
In this role, you will be working closely with our construction team to identify the materials and services needed for each project, and develop strategies to procure them efficiently and within budget. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and subcontractors, as well as seeking out new partnerships to expand our network and ensure the availability of quality materials and services.
As the Contracts/Procurement Manager, you will also be responsible for contract administration, ensuring that all contracts are executed and managed according to company policies and procedures. You will be reviewing and negotiating contract terms, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that may arise during the course of a project.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of the construction industry and the procurement process. Your keen eye for detail and strong negotiation skills will be essential in managing contracts and ensuring the best possible terms for our projects. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors will also play a crucial role in the smooth running of our projects.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with experience in contracts and procurement within the construction industry. You must have a proven track record of successfully managing contracts, negotiating with suppliers, and sourcing materials and subcontractors. Proficiency in contract management software and excellent communication and organizational skills are also required for this role.
