Job Title: Procurement and Supply Chain Assistant

Location: Didcot

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

Summary of Position:

Our client, a growing company distributing workwear and safety items, is looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Assistant to join their team. The Procurement and Supply Chain Assistant will be involved in sourcing, selecting, and purchasing high-quality garments at competitive prices.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting with the purchasing and sourcing of products for the company.
• Ensuring that the products are of high quality and meet the company's standards.
• Contacting suppliers and negotiate prices and delivery times.
• Placing purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Dealing with returns of products to suppliers.
• Maintaining accurate records of all purchases and inventory.
• Tracking shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
• Communicating with internal departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly.
• Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in the garment industry.

Hours of work: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
