Faculty / Directorate
The Finance and Procurement Directorate is a central support department within the university, supporting our vision to provide high performing finance and procurement services that drive financial strength and business sustainability for DMU.
Role
This is an exciting role to support the university in delivering its ambitious plans including support to the development and delivery of a new Estates Masterplan encompassing plans for a new Library and campus catering arrangements. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, this role will be key in ensuring the university secures best value and manages inherent risks, working closely with senior colleagues within our Estates and Commercial Services Directorate.
Ideal Candidate
You will be CIPS qualified with substantial experience in the field of Estates/Works public procurement, having a good understanding of Estates related professional disciplines in addition to RIBA planning and delivery. The role also includes responsibility for managing procurement planning and stakeholders across a portfolio of faculties and directorates and will require strong organisation and communication skills For more information about the essential and desirable skills required for this role, please view the Job Description/Person Specification.
